Wimbledon is in its final days right now and loads of seeds have gone out early as all of you know by now. Unfortunatley i lost early as well (i know i was not seeded but anyways i lost early)
I can definetely say that Wimby and the Grass is not my favourite Grand Slam result wise and feeling wise. 3 years in a row i have first round losses in singles and doubles BUT as we all know, losing first set (0-6 in matches) never means the match is over!! There is still time to turn Wimbledon around, even for me =)
There has been a lot of talk about all the seeded players losing early in Wimby this year. And loads of media have asked me the question what i think about that and so on…
I personally think that its been a very fun and intresting Wimby. Its not done yet of course but so far so good i think.
Earlier in the Grans Slams its only been about the big names: Federer, Nadal, Sharapova and Williams. Well there is always 128 players in the draw and all players in the main draw of a Grand Slam are every day working his or her ass off to get better every day. (Sorry for the language)!
All in the draw is putting down just as much including me so im actually happy to see that more players are getting paid for the hard work.
The winner deserves it and seeing as its been so many new players stepping forward makes me also realize even more that its not that far away for me either.
But again, yes this is my opinion!
Yesterday i was in Stockholm over the day. I was joyning Eurosports web program called court side.
I hope it was going okay, and you guys will like it when its out. I had a lot of fun anyways and it was extra nice caus a big topic was Båstad =)
Im traveling to Budapest on Saturday. So till then i will practice at home every hour of every day!!
I hope you guys slowly start to pack your bags for Båstad caus its soon time to see you all there! J
