Playing good here in Cincinnati. Everyone is complaining how much the balls are flying this week but it looks like i kind of like them=)
Been playing 4 matches so far, 2 in qualy and 2 in main and the highlight was of course my match against Bartoli from France the other day. She is at the moment ranked number 11 in the world so for me a good win!
I really thought before the match that i had a big advantage coming from the qualy. Caus as i said earlier balls are flying very different here so the more matches you have under your belt the better it is. Or… it was just my way of fooling my self that im ahead before we even started the match;)
I never played Bartoli before but i have seen that she is really walking her own way on the tour… Not in a bad way at all, caus its good not to do as everyone else many times!
However during the match i have never seen a player doing so many things. I mean after 3 games she changed from her Wilson racket to a Prince racket. Then after a few more games she is again changing racket, but not back to the same one as before, this time to an other Wilson model. Then next side change umpire tells me that Bartoli need little extra time caus she is changing her shoes. I mean at that point i was really thinking what is going on here??!!
However i won the match and i was very happy with the way i played! She was not the same happy i can tell you caus when we took hand after the match she gave me a very bad comment. NOT NICE!!
It’s a new match tomorrow and at the moment when writing this update its not done who i will play. But whoever it is im ready for it. I hope for a good match and of course that i can come out as the winner in the end. But we will see…
A very smart and special person told me before the Bartoli match that i should be ready to play my matchpoint caus it will happen… So before next match im thinking the same thing =)
Had dinner today with ”Team Sweden” at Cheescake factory tonigh. Good stuff!!!
